A very rare early copper ceremonial mandau, completely carved on one side of the blade with tin inlay, from West Kalimantan, Kayan people. Antler hilt carved with dragon, sprit of a trophy head and Aso motif. Blade features 4 dragons and a Hornbill design, wood scabbard with fine rattan binding. I have only ever seen one other reference (brass blade) in the book Iban Art by Michael Heppell Pg 129.
